If you enjoyed meeting the adorable pets featured in our Art Gallery location, it’s time to get to know the furry members of our team a bit better! These beloved companions bring joy, inspiration, and plenty of fun to our everyday work life.

1. Oscar

Beloved companion of the Seekers Notes game designer

Age: 8 years old

Breed: Unknown (resembles Siberian or Norwegian Forest Cat)

Story: One night in 2017, after leaving a bar, I spotted this calm black-and-white cat wandering nearby. I thought maybe I was ready for a pet, but I didn’t act right then. A few days later, I found him again—in the hallway of my apartment building. I figured it was meant to be and took him in (hoping I wasn’t just borrowing someone else’s kitty!). He looked like a grown cat, but the vet told me he was actually less than a year old.

Personality: Mischievous with lots of naughty habits: loves chewing cords and stealing Q-tips, cotton pads, and hair ties. Because of this, I’ve developed a habit of hiding cords even when he’s not around. Doesn’t groom himself well, so he requires regular brushing and occasional washing to prevent mats.

Fun Facts: Completely indifferent to human food, never begs or steals, not even fresh meat. Enjoys watching bird videos on YouTube.

2. Businka

The whiskered assistant to the Seekers Notes analyst

Age: 2.5 years old

Breed: British Shorthair

Story: We’d wanted a cat for so long, and after moving abroad, we finally decided it was time. We found an apartment that allowed pets and started looking for the right little one. Eventually, we found Businka—playful and full of life from the very first day.

Personality: Delicate and a bit shy, but curious. Loves lying on her back with paws up when asking for food or play. Knows exactly where her treats are, sometimes sitting and meowing there until given something.

Fun Facts: Businka has a morning routine of “kneading” us awake for breakfast. And if she’s scared, she hides under the blankets. She also loves watching birds outside the window.

3. Felix

Age: About 6 years old

Breed: Unknown (often called tuxedo cat due to his coloring)

Story: We found Felix outside our office one day back in August 2019. He was sitting by the stairs, very affectionate. Initially thought to be lost, but it turned out his former owners abandoned him due to relocation. We tried calling different names until he responded to Felix!

Personality: Once very shy and distrustful, now quite trusting. Calm but stands his ground. Exchanges smiling blinks with humans. Very picky eater, requires a “special invitation” and a little advertising about how fresh the chicken or fish is before he eats.

Fun Fact: Understands some foreign words, making him a bilingual kitty! Favorite words include “scratch,” “cheeks,” “neck,” “chicken,” “fish,” and “massage.”

4. Richard

Official travel buddy of the Seekers Notes QA automation specialist

Age: 6 years old

Breed: Scottish Straight

Story: Born from my cat, Richard was the smallest, weakest kitten in his litter, and no one wanted him, so I decided to keep him. For the last three years, he’s been my travel buddy, going with me all over the country and even to some other countries.

Personality: Mischievous and playful. He once spilled oil all over the kitchen and tracked it everywhere. Despite being the tiniest kitten when he was born, he’s grown into a big, sturdy cat weighing about 15 lbs (7 kg).

Fun Fact: He once “typed” the word “apt” on a tablet late at night, seemingly trying to tell me to move out.

5. Poe the Pug

Seekers Notes narrative designer’s most important team member (by paws)

Age: 10 years old

Breed: Pug

Story: Named after Edgar Allan Poe because, as a puppy, he had the most adorably sad little face. Back in 2015, my mom and I decided to get a pug. We found an ad for puppies, and there was just one little boy left. We brought him home the very next day – and he’s been our little shadow ever since.

Personality: Smart but lazy. He sometimes gets what we call the “zoomies” – running around like crazy and crashing into things. Sulks when scolded by lying on the entrance mat as if saying, “you’re mean, I’m leaving!”. Acts like the neighborhood king – barks at big dogs if they’re friendly, but asks to be picked up from intimidating ones. Very social and hates being alone.

Fun Facts: Obsessed with raw potatoes, grabs and plays with them but doesn’t eat. Quickly learned 4 commands: sit, lie down, give paw, and high five, but he’s clever enough to speed-run them just to get his treat faster.
