For the past updates, we’ve hidden 10 Easter eggs across the game, each one a loving tribute to stories and memories from the early days of Seekers Notes. These aren’t just fun surprises—they are threads connecting our community’s shared history, each with its own little story.

Let us take you on a guided tour of these special Easter eggs and the stories that inspired them.
1. Change Your Profile Name: “SeekersNotes10years”
Our very first Easter egg invites you to change your profile name to the secret phrase “SeekersNotes10years”. This symbolizes our gratitude for all the Seekers who’ve made this decade of adventures possible. Like a secret handshake, it connects the community in celebration.
2. The Gargoyle Returns
Remember the Gargoyle from the earliest days of Darkwood? She’s back! Resurrected as a special monster on your map, the Gargoyle reminds us of the challenges that shaped our journeys. Banishing her is like casting away old mysteries to welcome new ones. Also, did you notice the 2,015 coins you received? That’s a nod to the year Seekers Notes was first released—2015!
3. The Precise Arrow’s Hidden Secret
Tap on the Precise Arrow in your inventory and watch it transform into a Monocle—a return to its original form before it was replaced in April 2020. This hidden change is a subtle hint to Seekers, helping you discover a special item. It’s a clever nod to longtime players who love uncovering secrets beneath the surface—the true spirit of our game.
4. The Mysterious Envelope
Tap the envelope above your map ten times to reveal a Darkwood seal. This little artifact gives you a glimpse into Darkwood’s history, reminding us how far we’ve come.5. Gerbert: The Friendly Ghost
Gerbert walks around the center of each friend’s map, disappearing with each tap. Limited to ten taps per day, this ghostly character represents the memories we share with friends and the fun moments spent together in this community.
6. Guild Chat Secret Phrase
Enter “Happy Birthday Seekers Notes” into your guild chat and send it — watch as the celebration unfolds with festive animation. This Easter egg brings everyone together, reinforcing the spirit of friendship that has kept us united for ten years.
7. The Treasure Box Challenge
Win the Treasure Box 10 times, reload the game, and watch the house on the map change into the classic Treasure Box home. Since the house was updated to a new design, this Easter egg lets players see how the Treasure Box looked on the map when the game was first released—a nostalgic nod to the beginnings of your treasure-hunting adventures.
8. The Special Collection
A new collection filled with rare and old items awaits you. It features the Ancient Coin, a precious relic from Darkwood’s earliest days; the Magisterium; the Fun Stroll icon; the Classic Trophy; the Old Helen’s Portrait; and finally, the Original Game Icon, a reminder of where it all began. Together, these items piece together the rich history of Seekers Notes, inviting you to treasure the past as much as the present.
9. Colonel Hammerstrike in Top-100
Colonel Hammerstrike occupies the 100th spot in the Top-100 rankings. Tapping their profile reveals the character portrait, a figure well-known to longtime Seekers. His profile is filled with Easter egg references, including nods to past patches. Notably, Colonel Hammerstrike underwent a major redesign in 2021, when his appearance changed significantly—he even gained a mustache! This profile beautifully connects new Seekers with the legends of the past.
10. Profile Icon Transformations
Tap the icons in your profile — Level, Reputation, Friends, Collections, Energy, and Guild — and watch them shift to the classic designs we all remember fondly. It’s a heartfelt homage to the journey we’ve all taken together.
